Welcome. Thank you for visiting Namaste. Yoga in Rockridge. We are located in the heart of the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland - 1/2 block from the Rockridge library and a few blocks away from Rockridge BART. We offer a variety of styles for students of all levels with more than 30 classes per week, 7 days a week.

• SUMMER IS COMING! The May/June 2008 schedule is now available.

• FOR BEGINNERS ONLY. Know a friend who needs some yoga in their life? Our Beginning Yoga workshop is offered every other month. Next workshop: Saturday, May 17 from 1-3pm. $20*. Preregistration required.

• MEMORIAL DAY SCHEDULE. On Monday, May 26, the 10:00am class will take place only. All evening classes are cancelled for the day. Happy BBQ!

• PRENATAL YOGA. Namaste offers weekly prenatal yoga classes every Thursday at 6:00 pm.

• TEMESCAL STREET FAIR. The Temescal Street Fair has become an annual event for us. Come join us for a fun day in the sun. We'll be lounging in the sun and Darcy of Henna Lounge will be adorning us with her creations. Saturday, June 7 from noon - 6:00pm.

• NEW BABY or MOM-TO-BE? Come join our Mom and Baby Postnatal Yoga series! You will rebuild strength, learn baby massage and enjoy restful restorative asanas. Next series runs from June 2nd through July 7th.

• UNLIMITED YOGA FOR $99. Make a commitment to your yoga practice in 2008. Come take advantage of our unlimited monthly rate of $99*. That's equal to the price of 6 classes! Requires a 6-month commitment and signed contract. See the front desk for further details.

• LOOING FOR AN ANUSARA CLASS? We have it here! Simmin Joy Holland, Kimber Simpkins, and Carolyn Brown all teach Anusara style classes. Check out our schedule for days and times. Don't know what Anusara is? Read more about John Friend and the popular style of yoga he has created.

• FRIDAYS AT 5PM.  Come check out Yogananda with a new dynamic Vinyasa flow class.  Come ready to sweat and have fun in a class that integrates mind, body, and spirit to awaken the true essence of the self - Bliss.

• CHECK OUT DOMONICK. Domonick Wegesin joins the Namaste schedule Mondays and Wednesdays at 4:30pm. Domonick's classes provide a balance of flowing and static postures as well as breathwork.

• NEW ARRIVALS!. Come in and check out our new arrivals from OmGirl, Be Present and Zobha - our new performance line.
